Meet Tara

I am a somatic therapist trained in embodied processing, a creative mindfulness practitioner for children, and the author of two children's books.

Throughout the years, I have dedicated myself to personal growth and embarked on a journey of self-discovery. During this journey, I learned how important it is for healing to take place in the body when we turn inward and begin to feel. This is where the journey toward living a more wholesome life truly begins.

In addition, when I became a mother to my two beautiful children, I immersed myself in learning about attachment, connected, aware, and peaceful parenting. I have found parenting to be truly transformative, playing a significant role in my journey of self-discovery. I now share my insights and educate other parents who are also on their healing journeys.

  • My Philosophy

    I find great fulfillment in working with people on the level of the body and feeling, as this process allows you to evolve and grow in all areas of your life I believe that everyone has the ability to heal and find their way back to wholeness.

    All humans possess innate wisdom and intuition that can guide them along their unique healing journeys. The body inherently desires to heal from the past, and by opening up and expanding our awareness, we allow the body's innate intelligence and wisdom to facilitate this process.

    My hope for you is that you can begin to feel a sense of peace and ease about life, experience more joy, have a more connected relationship with your children, and engage in life more fully.

How I can help

Embodied processing is a somatic modality that is used in 1:1 sessions where we safely explore the stress and trauma that is stored in the body from past experience.

As we meet and inquire into past imprints and stressors we unravel the emotional somatic contractions and wounds that where unfelt and remain held in the nervous system, bringing about completion, integration and harmony.

  • Embodied Processing

    Embodied Processing is a therapeutic method designed to help individuals confront and heal emotional wounds by tapping into the body's inherent wisdom. This approach addresses the underlying stress and trauma that often lead to symptoms like stress, anxiety, depression, addiction, and more.

  • Parent coaching

    I offer one-on-one guidance and education to support parents in forming a more connected relationship with their children. This includes providing insights and strategies rooted in attachment, aware, connected and peaceful parenting, as well as exploring ways to foster emotional intelligence and emotional regulation techniques not only for yourself but also for your children. Additionally, I provide creative approaches to help guide your children in identifying and managing their emotions.

My Approach

I provide a safe and nurturing space for you to explore your nervous system, emotions, trauma, emotional distress, overwhelm, relational challenges, and behavioral patterns through a somatic approach. Together, we will learn to feel and engage with what is stored in the body, helping you build a strong foundation for the present and future. This process will allow you to become comfortable with embodying your nervous system’s natural rhythm.

During our first session we will work on forming safety within the body providing you with a resource to which you can build upon that will become a anchor throughout our sessions together it’s essential when processing emotions and working with the nervous system that this safety is formed within ones self, it helps us gain the capacity to further explore and be with what may surface in ones session more safely.
